Home Energy that you can do yourself!

Have you been disgusted with the way the world around us seems to keep going out of control. It just seems that there is nothing that we can do or say that will make a difference to help out the current situations that seem to fall into our laps. Some of us out there are still doing alright and others out there are slowly slipping into the great abyss. I wanted to find out a way that I could once again gain control of at least one part of my life and probably one of the most important aspects and that is energy. Of course my beautiful wife, my family and friends are important too, but what is the one thing that keeps all of us going and the one thing that we all depend on? That is of course energy. I started to wonder how and what I could do to have more say about were and how I could tap into the renewable resources out there with out having to pay an astronomical price. I'm sure that if you are here that you have probably asked yourself the same thing. Am I right?
I started to research many different ways to be environmentally responsible and still not have to pay overwhelming prices to do all of this. I have spent some money and many, many hours of time to gain the knowledge to virtually become independent of the grips of the energy companies and start to produce some of my own energy to power some of the items in my house. They have worked so well that I felt obligated to share some of the information with others, to help out my friends and most importantly my family.
Through the many hours of pain staking task of searching through dozens of dead end internet sites I have found three that gave me the information that I was looking for to build my own energy saving tools and it is just the beginning for me. I look forward to the moment I can put all of the information to use and actually start selling the energy I produce back to my local energy company. Yep! You heard me right you can actually end up selling energy back to the energy company. Of course you will have to contact your local energy companies for more details and to see if this is possible where you live! As you can tell I'm more than excited about all this and that is why I had to share with all that would listen.
The first place I found taught me what I needed to know about making my own solar panels and also how to produce my own energy from the wind. Which is great for where I live! This was packed full of information and was really easy to follow with step by step instructions and illustrations. The next site that I found also gave me information on how to build solar panels and a wind power system that totally makes sense. I even showed my 16 year old son the plans and he was amazed on really how easy it would be to build. I see the next summer project coming up. The third site that I found had tons of information. It teaches you how to build the solar panels and the wind energy generator but now I also got the chance to learn how to make my own bio diesel as well. I have heard about this but now I have the knowledge to do this on my own. It is truly incredible! Think how much you yourself can save with this knowledge. I'm really glad that I now have the knowledge to become energy independant and will be able to keep the lights on and will eventually not have to worry about how much the power bill will be every month.
